    Oatmeal: Libby's Irish Oatmeal Cookies

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup flour
    • 1 cup white sugar
    • 2 1/4 cups "Quick Quaker Oats"
    • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    • 1 tsp. baking powder
    • 3 Tblsp. maple syrup
    • 2 Tblsp. water
    • 1 cup butter (no substitutes), melted


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, oats, baking soda and baking powder.

    3. In another bowl mix maple syrup, water and butter.

    4. Mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients.

    5. Wrap cookie mixture in waxed paper and refridgerate it for 1/2 hour.

    6. Make 1" sized balls and roll inro granulated sugar. Lightly flatten with hand.

    7. Place on ungreased baking sheets and bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
