    A melt in your mouth treat...these will disappear fast!


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 cups butter (no substitutes), softened
    • 1 cup confectioner's sugar
    • 2 Tblsp. water
    • 4 tsp. vanilla
    • 4 cups all purpose flour
    • 2 cups pecans, chopped
    • Additional confectioner's sugar


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
    2. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add water and vanilla; mix well.
    3. Gradually add flour; fold in pecans.
    4. Roll dough into 1 inch balls.
    5. Place on ungreased baking sheets and flatten with fingers.
    6. Cool on wire rack. When cool, dust with confectioner's sugar.


    Final Comments


    YIELD: About 5 dozen.
