    List of Ingredients




    1 c shortening
    3/4 c sugar
    1 egg
    2 1/4 c sifted flour
    1/8 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp almond extract
    green vegetable coloring

    Recipe



    Preheat to 400.
    Cream shortening; gradually add sugar.
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Add unbeaten egg, sifted ingredients, almond extract, and a few drops of the green coloring.
    Mix well.
    Fill MIRRO cooky press.
    Form cookies on ungreased MIRRO aluminum cooky sheets, using the tree plate.
    Decorate with tiny candies.
    Baking time: 10 to 12 minutes.
    Makes 6 dozen.
