Incredibly good! You can substitute raisins for the chocolate morsels but give the chocolate a try. It is a pleasant surprise when mingled with the pumpkin. Drizzle with vanilla icing if desired.

2 cups flour
1 cup rolled oats
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup canned pumpkin
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine dry ingredients, set aside.
Cream butter, gradually add sugars, beating until light and fluffy.
Add egg and vanilla, mix well. Alternate additions of dry ingredients and pumpkin, mixing well after each addition. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Using a teaspoon or small ice cream scoop, drop onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 15 minutes until cookies are firm and cool remove from sheets
