Schrafft's Hot Fudge Sauce

List of Ingredients
1 stick butter
3 oz. unsweetened chocolate
1 cup sugar
Pinch of salt
1 cup heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
Recipe
Melt butter, chocolate, and sugar over hot water, in double boiler.
Add salt and cream. Allow to cook for two hours; stir occasionally to prevent burning.
Just before serving, add vanilla.
Makes about a pint of sauce.
