    Cook Off Winner Crockery Style Chili

    List of Ingredients

    1 1/2 lbs ground beef
    2 (15.50 ounces) cans red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
    1 (28.00 ounces) can crushed tomatoes
    2 (6.00 ounces) cans tomato paste
    2 green bell peppers, cut into 1-inch pieces
    3/4 cup water
    1-3 small hot peppers, finely chopped
    1-2 tablespoon McCormick hot Mexican style chili powder
    2 McCormick bay leaves
    1 teaspoon salt

    Recipe

    1. In a medium saucepan, over medium-high heat, brown ground beef until well done.
    2. Drain.
    3. Place in a 3 1/2 or 4-quart crockery slow cooker.
    4. Add remaining ingredients.
    5. Heat on low for 5-6 hours.
    6. Remove bay leaves and serve.

    Serves 8
