List of Ingredients
1 (10-ounce) package Shortbread, finely rolled
1 (4-serving size) package instant chocolate pudding & pie filling
1 cup flaked coconut
1/2 cup margarine or butter, melted
2 cups milk
1 cup heavy cream, whipped
1 quart strawberry ice cream, slightly softened
Additional whipped cream and fresh strawberries, for garnish
Recipe
1. Mix crumbs, coconut and margarine or butter in medium bowl; press against bottom and side of 2 1/2-quart foil-lined bowl. Place in freezer 10 minutes.
2. Prepare pudding according to package directions using milk; fold in whipped cream. Spread ice cream evenly against crumb layer; spoon in pudding mixture. Freeze overnight.
3. Unmold bombe onto serving dish; garnish with additional whipped cream and strawberries if desired. Allow to stand at room temperature 15 to 20 minutes for easier slicing.
