Cobbler: Pear and Almond Brown Betty

2 cans (29 oz. each)sliced pears in juice, drained, reserving 1/2 cup juice
24 NABISCO Ginger Snaps, coarsely crushed (2 cups crumbs)
1/4 cup PLANTERS Sliced Almonds, toasted
1/4 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
Recipe
SPREAD half the pear slices in lightly greased 9-inch square baking dish. Sprinkle half the crumbs over pears; repeat layers with remaining pears and crumbs. Sprinkle with almonds.
MIX reserved pear juice and sugar; drizzle over top.
BAKE at 325°F for 25 to 30 minutes or until bubbly. Cool slightly. Serve warm with whipped topping.
