    Pudding: Hot Fudge Pudding

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup all-purpose flour
    • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
    • 2 tsp. baking powder
    • 1/2 tsp. salt
    • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder - divided
    • 1/2 cup whole milk
    • 2 Tbls. butter, melted
    • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
    • 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

    2. Grease an 8" by 8" glass baking dish or shallow 2-quart casserole dish.

    3. In a medium bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt cinnamon and 1/4 cup of the cocoa.

    4. Whisk in milk, butter and vanilla just until smooth. Spread batter into baking dish.

    5. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa; sprinkle evenly over batter.

    6. Carefully pour 1 1/2 cups boiling water over the mixture in baking dish. DO NOT STIR!!!

    7. Bake 30 minutes (batter will separate into cake and pudding layers). Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes.

    8. Serve warm in dessert bowls with ice cream if desired.

    9. YIELD: 6 Servings

    I've made this and it is a chocoholics dream dessert!
