Torte: Chocolate Cream Torte

8 egg whites
1 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup sugar
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup flaked coconut (OR ground walnuts)
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup mini-marshmallows
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 cup heavy cream, whipped
Recipe
Beat first four ingredients to soft peaks. Add sugar gradually and beat to stiff peaks. Fold in flour, coconut,(or ground walnuts) and sugar.
Spread on greased and floured cookie sheets to make three 8" circles and one approx. 2" circle.
Bake at 300 for 25-30 min.
Remove from sheets immediately. Cool.
Mix chocolate, marshmallows, and milk in top of double boiler. Heat until melted. Chill.
Fold in whipped cream.
Stack large layers, spreading filling between them and over the top. Cap with small layer. Chill 6-8 hr.
