Kare
List of Ingredients
2-4, or more, clay pots in graduated sizes
A plastic liner for each pot
Woodpicks or sticks (4-10 depending on # of pots used)
Oasis foam to fit in each pot size
Perservative water
Variety of fresh flowers & foliage (1-2 consumer bouquets)
Fresh fruit and vegetables
Garden flowers & foliages
Recipe
Place foam in preservative water and let it free float. Place liner in each container. Insert foam so it is even with the top of each pot. The largest container is the base-A.
Set the next size clay pot without the liner on top of foam in preservative water. Insert a stick or two in the center to hold the pot in place. Then put the liner with foam in that pot. Do the rest the same way.
HINT: You may want to place a stick or two around the pot base to help secure in if it will be moved often. Place foliages around the base of each container. Insert flowers low to the top of the foam on each layer. Choose bright holiday colors. You may accent with some silk, dried or garden flowers, pods, foliages, fruit, and vegetables.
Trim however you like with 4th of July novelties. Water each layer seperately. Remember that the top layer will dry out first, as it is the smallest.
HINT: Set the entire design in the sink. Water generously, let drain and replace on table.
ANOTHER HINT: Do not put a real clay saucer or pot on table without a glass or plastic base. It will stain the table.
