1/4 cup butter or oleo
1/4 cup slivered almonds
1 Ib. white fish fillets, deboned, with skin removed
2 tsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. salt
Recipe
Place butter or oleo, and almonds in 8x8 inch baking dish, microwave 5 minutes on High, until almonds are golden, stirring once. Remove almonds and set aside. Arrange fillets in baking dish with thickest portions to outside of dish, turning to coat with butter or oleo. Sprinkle with lemon juice and salt. Cover tightly with plastic wrap. Microwave 5 to 6 minutes on High, or until fish flakes easily and appears opaque. Garnish with toasted almonds.
