    "Rich and creamy, this elegant dish can be served in individual ramikins or a casserole dish."


    List of Ingredients




    1 cup crab meat, chopped (imitation crab can be used)
    2 tablespoons dry sherry
    2 tablespoons butter OR margarine
    2 teaspoons arrowroot
    1 cup light cream
    1/2 teaspoon beau monde seasoning
    1/8 teaspoon pepper
    1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
    2 teaspoons dried parsley
    1 egg, hard cooked, chopped
    1 cup mushrooms, sliced
    1/2 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
    1/8 teaspoon paprika

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350º F.

    Combine crab and sherry; set aside.

    Melt butter in large saucepan over medium heat; blend in arrowroot. Add cream gradually. Stir in beau monde, pepper and mustard. Continue to cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens and comes to a boil. Remove from heat. Add parsley, egg, mushrooms, cheese, and crab meat.

    Spoon into 4 buttered ramekins OR a 1-quart casserole. Bake 12 to 15 minutes, or until bubbly. Sprinkle with paprika before serving.

    YIELD: 4 Servings
