Sherried Shrimp Bake

2 lbs fresh shrimp
1/4 cup butter
1 cup hot milk
1/2 cup sherry (regular sherry not cooking sherry)
1 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup chopped parsley
1 clove garlic chopped/minced
1/2 tsp. salt - to taste
1/2 tsp. pepper - to taste
1/2 cup soft butter
4 Tbsp parmesan cheese
1/4 cup melted butter
Recipe
Saute shrimp in 1/4 cup of butter. Once they are cooked place into an oblong baking dish.
In separate bowl place bread crumbs, and pour hot milk and sherry over top and mix stir allowing to thicken.
Add parsley, chopped/minced garlic, salt and pepper, and 1/2 cup butter to the bread mixture and mix well.
Spread mixture over shrimp and sprinkle with parmesan cheese the pour 1/4 cup melted butter over top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, Brown under broiler before serving.
