    Recipe Introduction


    An easy elegant dish. This recipe serves 2 but can easily be increased to accomodate any number of dinner guests.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 Tbls. chopped onion
    • 1 Tbls. butter
    • 5 butter-flavored crackers, crushed
    • 1 haddock, sole or cod fillet (about 1 pound)
    • 1/3 cup condensed cream of celery soup
    • 1 Tblsp. sour cream
    • Paprika


    Instructions


    1. In a skillet, saute' onion in butter until tender. Stir in crackers and enough water to hold mixture together.
    2. Cut a pocket into the side of the fillet; stuff with cracker mixture.
    3. Place in a greased baking dish.
    4. Combine soup and sour cream and spread over the fish. Sprinkle with paprika.
    5. Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 35-30 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
    6. YIELD: 2 Servings
