    Cheese: Cheese Fondue Bernese

    List of Ingredients

    1 clove garlic
    1 cup Reisling wine
    4 ounces grated Emmenthaler cheese
    4 ounces grated Gruyere cheese
    2 Tablespoons flour
    3 grates of fresh nutmeg
    Pinch salt and pepper
    Dash kirsch liqueur (distilled cherry liqueur)
    Loaf French bread

    Recipe

    Rub fondue pot with garlic clove. Add wine and bring just to a boil.
    Combine both cheeses and flour and stir into boiling wine until smooth.
    Lower heat and season with salt, pepper, and kirsch.
    Cut bread into 1-inch cubes, warm in oven, and serve with fondue.
