    Dessert: Peppermint Fondue

    1 cup of powdered sugar
    2 tablespoons of cornstarch
    2 cups of whipping cream
    1/4 teaspoon of peppermint extract
    1 to 2 drops of red liquid food coloring


    Recipe

    Combine the sugar and cornstarch in a heavy saucepan, gradually stir in whipping cream.

    Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat and stir in peppermint and food coloring.

    Spoon into a fondue pot or chafing dish.


    Makes 2 cups.
