    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1/4 cup corn starch
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup water
    1 tablespoon butter




    Recipe



    1 Mix together the brown sugar, corn starch, salt, and water in a small saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil, and stir constantly for 1 minute. Remove from heat, and add the butter or margarine.

    2 Allow the mixture to cool slightly, and spread between cake layers that you've prepared.
