    Double Butterscotch Fudge

    3 1/2 c sugar
    13 oz. can evaporated milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c butterscotch chips
    1/2-1 c finely chopped almonds
    8 oz. white chocolate or vanilla flavored candy coating
    7 oz jar marshmallow creme
    1 T butter

    Recipe



    Line 13x9" pan with foil.

    In saucepan combine sugar milk and salt; blend well. Cook stirring constantly until candy thermometer reaches 235° (soft ball stage).

    In a medium bowl, combine 1 1/2 c hot mixture with butterscotch chips and almonds; stir until well mixed. Press into prepared pan.

    To remaining hot mixture, stir in rest of ingredients. Pour over butterscotch mixture in pan, spreading evenly.

    Refrigerate 2-3 hours or until firm. Cut into squares.
