    It can be confusing sometimes to know which apple is the right apple to use for a recipe. And, if your like me, you've discovered that after using the wrong apple. Hope this chart helps you as much has it has me over the years.
    AP=All-Purpose
    AS=Apple Sauce
    B=Baking,
    E=Eating
    F=Freezing
    P=Pies
    S=Salad

    The order listed after each apple type will be as follows:
    Variety, Color, Flavor, Texture, Peak Season, and Use
