    List of Ingredients

    1. How to revive celery: Douse with boiling water and immediately dip in ice water.

    2. Put your lemons, limes and oranges in hot water before squeezing.

    3. Carpet freshener: One half cup corn starch and one or two drops of your favorite essential or fragrance oil.
I used a blend of Oakmoss, Patchoulli, and Lavender Essential Oil yesterday and it made the whole house smell wonderful.

    4. Skin refreshener: 8oz purified water, 1 tsp 100% pure Aloe Vera gel. Mix purified water and Aloe Vera gel in eight ounce spray bottle ( I bought mine at wal-marts) shake well. I keep mine refrigerated and shake well before using. I use this refreshener over my foundation to keep my skin moist and during the day when my skin feels tight and I just need a pick me up.
I also use a blend of pure Aloe Vera and pure Cucumber Gel.

    5. Air Freshener:: This time of the year we are all looking forward to cool days and a good fire in the fire place. I put orange peel in my fire place and the scent is great. I want to try cinnamon sticks during the holidays.

    6. Add a little water to the bottom of your votive cup to prevent votive candle wax from sticking to cup.

    7. To prevent flour from lumping while making gravy, add a little salt to flour before using.

    8. Scented Log: To scent a log for your fireplace, put one-three drop of essential on log, let dry and place in fire place.

    9. To freshen drawers or closets: Place a few drops of essential oil on cotton ball and place in drawers or closets.

    10. Making room spray: Mix 8 ounces of water and 10 drops of your favorite essential oil in 8 oz mist spray bottle. Shake well before using.

    11. When you need extra counter space, open a drawer and put a cutting board or cookie sheet on top of it. It makes a convenient area to chop vegetables or lay a cookbook.

    12. Get rid of food overflow and burn stains on the bottom of the oven and stop smoke and odor by coating the spill with a heavy layer of salt after the oven is turned off. Wait until the oven cools, then wipe up.

13.To remove printer or photocopier toner stains from clothing, brush or blow off loose deposits, then wash in cold water. Heat will only set the toner spots.

    14. When making mufffins, mix your ingredients in a large pitcher. You'll be able to pour the batter into the muffin tins easily and with less mess.

    15. Before removing a splinter, numb the area with baby's teething gel. You'll be able to get it out with little to no pain.

    16. Coat chocolate chips or raisins in some flour before adding them to cake or cookie batter. This will keep them from falling to the bottom while baking.

    17. To peel the shells from hard-boiled eggs, let the eggs sit in a bowl of cold water for 15 minutes. Roll each egg on kitchen counter. The shells will come right off.

    18. Brush clean nails with white vinegar. Let dry, then polish. The color will go on smoothly and last much longer.

    19. Untangle a snarled jewelry chain by sprinkling a little powder on the knot. Slowly pull the knot apart.

    20. Need to secure a loose corner or seam of wallpaper? Use a dab of white toothpaste.

    21. Thickeners: Instead of adding water to your cornstarch; measure water first then add your cornstarch, and things will go much smoother.

    1. Mix up your pancake batter in your blender, then pour right out of your container onto the griddle. You'll have lump-free batter and lots less to clean up.

    2. Having a children's birthday party? The day before, scoop ice cream into a muffin pan lined with paper liners. Keep in the freezer till serving time.

    3. For quick frosting on a cake or pan of brownies, sprinkle a 12-oz. bag of chocolate chips on top while cake is still warm. Let it sit for a few minutes, the chips will be soft enough to spread. Try using mint chocolate chips, too!

    4. We've all made small pizzas using English muffins, but have you tried using flour tortillas? Just top with pizza sauce and your other favorite things, and bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes or so.

    5. Your kitchen shears are the best tool for cutting fresh green beans into pieces. You can even cut more than one bean at a time.

    6. Instead of making a white sauce for your veggies tonight, mix equal parts of mayo and the water the veggies cooked in. Add salt and pepper to your taste.

    7. When you have cooking odors you would like to get rid of, boil a few cinnamon sticks in water for a few minutes.

    8. Another way to clean up pots and pans quickly-- boil a little vinegar and water in the pan. Then stuck on food is easily cleaned out.

    9. Another use for your electric knife: it slices chilled cookie dough very neatly.

    10. Don't fry your bacon, cook it in the oven! Just lay the slices on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees until crisp and done. Easy cleanup, too.

    11. An easy, quick way to shred carrots for carrot cake: place pieces of carrot in blender, add eggs the recipe calls for and blend until of desired consistency.

    12. Want to have spaghetti for sauce but no time for making sauce? Just blend a can of Italian diced tomatoes and heat.

    13. If you spill cooking oil on the floor or counter, sprinkle flour over it; wait a few minutes for it to absorb and wipe or sweep up.

    14. An easy way to peel a tomato: rub all over with the back of a knife. Then it peels easily.

    15. Use a small funnel to easily and quickly separate an egg. The white will go through, while the yolk will stay in the funnel.
