    Valentine's Day: Cherry Valentine Cookies

    List of Ingredients

    1/2 C shortening
    1/4 C margerine
    3/4 C sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp vanilla
    2 1/2 C flour
    1 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp salt
    1 envelope(135g) Kool-Aid cherry sugar sweetened drink mix

    Recipe

    Beat shortening, butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add flour , baking powder, salt and drink mix; blend well. Roll dough to 1/8th inch thickness on lightly floured surface. cut out with heart shaped cookie cutter. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 400 for 6 to 8 min.



    YIELD: 4 dozen 3" cookies.
