Christmas: Holiday Cranberry Cake

List of Ingredients




3/4 cup butter (or margarine)
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract
3 cups flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 cups sour cream
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1-16 oz. can whole cranberries

eam butter and sugar. Add eggs, 1 at a time. Beat in almond extract. Sift together dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture alternating with sour cream. Beat well after each addition. Spoon 1/3 batter into greased and floured bundt pan. Spread 1/2 the cranberry sauce and 1/2 the nuts over batter. Repeat, ending with batter. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 1 hour.

Serves: 12

Drizzle on top of cooled cake mixture of:
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 Tbls. orange juice (or warm water)
1/2 tsp. almond extract
