    List of Ingredients





    1 c. unsalted butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 and 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. chopped nuts

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

    Mix all together, shape into 1 inch balls and bake at 400 degrees for about 10-12 minutes. Roll immediately in colored sugar.

    These cookies may also be wrapped around cherries ans/or dipped in chocolate and chopped nuts when cooled.

    Another variation is rolling the cookies in confectioners sugar after cool.
