    Halloween: Halloween Soup

    List of Ingredients




    1 lb black beans
    1 large onion
    2 cloves garlic, diced
    2 Tbs A-1 Sauce
    salt & cayenne pepper to taste
    1 lb. carrots, sliced into rounds
    cilantro for garnish (optional)

    Recipe



    Rinse and soak beans for 6 hours or overnight. Drain beans andempty into a large soup pot. Add enough water to cover the beansby 2 to 3 inches. Bring to a boil and then skim off any foam thatrises to the surface.

    Add garlic and onion. Lower heat and cook untilonions are soft,about 15 minutes.

    Next, add A-1 Sauce and salt and cayenne pepper to taste. Cook forabout 1 hour. Add carrots and continue cooking for another 30 minutes. Garnish with cilantro, if desired, before serving.
