Christmas: Jill's Christmas Pretzels

3 tsps red decorating sugar
3 tsps green decorating sugar
3 tsps white decorating sugar
We like to use other colors too.
1 bag of white chocolate chips, we use regular chocolate chips and you can also you the kind of wafers you make candy out of
1 package (10 ounces)large Bavarian-style pretzels or any size pretzel, your choice
Recipe
In a small bowl mix your sugars together. Whatever colors you like..the course sugar works better. Melt your chocolate in the microwave in 30 second time frames, stirring and checking after each 30 seconds. Remove from heat. Working with just a few pretzels at a time, dip each each pretzel into the melted chocolate. Lay yout pretzels to waxed paper.
Sprinkle pretzels with sugar mix before chocolate hardens. Store in an airtight container in a cool place.
YIELD: 2 Dozen Pretzels
NOTE: We use the pretzel sticks too and decorate them like logs. These are a great project for the kids to help with the homemade gifts for friends, family, and teachers. My daughter did this for years for her teachers and friends. She would shop for just the right container or tin to put them in that was special for each one.
