Thanksgiving: Standard-Sheaf Of Wheat Bread

2 loaves of frozen, whole wheat bread dough, thawed & cut in 15 strips & rolled into breadsticks 1 egg, beaten
Recipe
Separate each breadstick, and place 5 breadsticks side-by-side on a cookie sheet. Place four more breadsticks on top in the seams of the first row. Continue with a row of three, then a row of two. Fold the remaining breadstick in half, and twist to form a braid. Place the braid around the middle of the breadstick bundle, and tuck ends underneath. Fan out the top of the bundle. Snip the top ends of the breadsticks so that they resemble wheat. Glaze the `sheaf of wheat' with the beaten egg, and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
