This is a rough guideline to scenting your soaps with essential oils. Fragrancing is very subjective and some essential oils are much stronger than others. See blending basics. A rate of two percent per ounce of oils used is recommended, (10-20 drops of essential oil per one ounce of oils), but personal preference should be applied. While Fragrance oils are rich in variety, the advantage of essential oils is their aromatherapeutic value in stimulating, relaxing or altering moods. However, again it all comes down to personal preference.
