    Homemade Fudge Sauce

    List of Ingredients

    1 1/4 c Sugar
    1 c Dutch processed unsweetened
    .. cocoa powder
    1/2 ts Cinnamon
    1 c Heavy cream
    1/2 c Milk
    1/4 c Hazlenut or other nut
    .. flavored liqueur
    1/2 c Butter; cut in eight pieces
    2 ts Vanilla


    Recipe

    Mix together sugar, cocoa, and cinnamon in large
    heavy bottomed saucepan until no lumps remain. Add
    cream, milk, and liqueur and stir until smooth.

    Bring to a boil; boil 2 minutes, stirring
    constantly. Remove from heat, cool 15 minutes,
    stir in butter until melted. Stir in vanilla. Cool
    to room temperature. Store, covered, in the fridge
    for up to one month. Stir before using.
