    Peanut Butter Ice Cream

    List of Ingredients

    1 envelope gelatin
    1/4 cup cold water
    1 can sweetened condensed milk -- (14-ounce)
    1 can evaporated milk -- (12-ounce)
    1 jar crunchy peanut butter -- (12-ounce)
    1 cup sugar
    6 eggs
    1 tablespoon vanilla extract
    1 quart half and half

    Recipe

    Sprinkle gelatin over cold water in a small saucepan; let stand 5 minutes. Heat gelatin mixture over low heat stirring constantly, until dissolved; set aside.


    Combine sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, peanut butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and gelatin mixture in a mixing bowl; beat at medium speed of an electric mixer until blended.

    Pour mixture into freezer can of 1-gallon ice cream freezer, Freeze according to manufacturer's instructions. Let ice cream ripen at least 1 hour.
