Pretzels
Air-popped popcorn
Breakfast cereals (low in sugar) portioned out in zip-top bags
Whole grain crackers portioned out in zip-top bags
Chunks of cheddar cheese portioned out in zip-top bags
Graham crackers, fig bars or oatmeal cookies portioned out in zip-top bags
Individual frozen or regular yogurts
Individual popsicles
Frozen juice bars
Individual juice boxes
Individual granola bars
Cottage cheese with chopped apples, raisins or cinnamon.
Small, flavoured rice cakes.
Frozen grapes (for the older kids).
Celery sticks with spreadable cheese and chopped apples.
Pita pockets spread with peanut butter, dotted with raisins.
Designate part of your refrigerator shelf space as a snack-ready area so the kids will go straight to it instead of looking through the fridge for something else you probably don't want them to have!
