Black Bean And Cous Cous Salad

Low fat lunch. Very satisfying and good for you!
List of Ingredients
1 cup cooked whole wheat cous cous - prepared according to package directions
1 can black beans- rinsed
1/4 of a red onion - chopped
1/2 large carrot - chopped
1 fresh jalapeno - membrane and seeds removed, minced
cilantro (coriander) about 1/4 cup- roughly chopped
juice of one lime
1/4 tsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp onion salt
salt-just a sprinkle
* all spices are to taste- use more or less according to your personal preference
Recipe
Toss beans, onions, carrot, jalapeno and cilantro in a medium sized bowl.
Add cous cous, lime juice and toss well.
Begin adding spices, tasting as you go to be sure you have it adjusted according to your taste.
