Side Dish: Sautéed Snow Peas and Cherry Tomatoes with Garlic

1/4 cup cherry tomatoes
2 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon olive oil
12 ounces snow peas, trimmed (purchase already trimmed, if available)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Recipe
Halve the cherry tomatoes. (You should have 1/2 cup halves.) Slice the 2 garlic cloves into slivers.
In a 10-inch sauté pan, heat the 1 tablespoon olive oil over high heat until hot. Add the slivered garlic and cook, stirring, 30 seconds. Add the 12 ounces snow peas and cook, stirring, 2 minutes, or until bright green. Turn off heat and add tomato halves. Toss until just warmed. Season with salt and pepper.
