Pasta in White Clam Sauce

List of Ingredients
- 2 small onions
- 4 medium size cloves of garlic
- 1/4 pound salt pork ( frozen - makes it easier to cut up )
- 1 cup olive oil
- 1 pound spaghetti - or your favoite pasta
- 1 jar White Clam Sauce w/ olive oil and spices (I use Sclafani brand)
- little necks (optional)
- parsley (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, add about 3 tsp. of olive. Slice the salt pork and then chop it into small pieces.
- Chop the 2 onions into small pieces and place them into the pan. Let them slowly cook with the salt pork until tender.
- In a small saucepan add the remaining olive oil. Chop the 4 cloves of garlic and place tghem in the oil. Simmer until the garlic starts to brown. Heat up the white clam sauce in another saucepan.
- In a large pan, bring 3-4 quarts of water to a boil. Cook pasta according to direction on its box. Strain pasta.
- Combine the olive oil mixtures and pour of the spaghetti. Our the white clam suace over the spaghetti and mix well. Serve with chopped fresh parsley and steamed little neck clams if you like.
