List of Ingredients
1 jar of Classico Pesto Tomato Sauce
2 T of olive oil
1 T of diced garlic
2 carrots, sliced
1 med. onion, chopped
8 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 sm. zucchini, sliced
1 sm. summer squash, sliced
1 bunch broccoli rosettes
1 box ziti ( 8 oz.)
Recipe
In large saucepan add the olive oil, garlic, onion, carrots, squash, zucchini, and mushrooms. Simmer until the onion is translucent. Add the sauce and continue to simmer. Add a cup of water if you like to thin the sauce a little.
Cook the ziti. About 2 minutes before the ziti is done, add the broccoli to the boiling water with the ziti. This will make the broccoli cook nice and bright green (not over done).
Drain ziti and broccoli and top with the sauce full of great vegetables.
A healthy pasta dish!
