    4 eggs

    3/4 cup sugar

    1 cup heavy cream

    2 1/2 cups milk

    1/4 pound (1 stick) butter

    1 tablespoon vanilla extract

    1 teaspoon cinnamon

    8 ounces cream cheese

    1 baguette, cut into 1/4 inch slices

    5 Granny Smith apples, peeled and thinly sliced

    1/2 cup golden raisins

    CRUMB TOPPING:

    1 cup flour

    1/2 cup brown sugar

    1 teaspoon cinnamon

    1/4 pound (1 stick) cold butter

    Whisk together the eggs, sugar, cream, milk, butter, vanilla, and cinnamon. Spread a little cream cheese on each slice of bread.

    Grease a 9X13-inch pan with butter. Use 1/3 of the apples to make a layer in the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle with 1/3 of the raisins and follow with a layer of bread slices. Repeat. Place the remaining apples and another 1/3 of the raisins on top of the bread. Pour the egg mixture over the top.

    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

    To make the crumb topping: Place the flour, sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl. Cut the cold butter into the mixture until you get the desired crumbly topping texture. Add the remaining raisins. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the bread and egg mixture. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, until the top is lightly browned.
