Chocolate: Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie

Recipe Introduction

"This wonderful pie recipe is also known as Horserace Pie. The filling is a combination of chocolate chip cookies and pecan pie. Yum!"

List of Ingredients

2 eggs
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup melted butter, cooled
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts (or use 2 cups chips and leave out the nuts)
1 9" unbaked pie shell





Recipe

Beat eggs well in large bowl. Add flour and sugars and mix until well blended. Stir in the melted butter. Add chips and nuts (if using).


Pour into unbaked pie shell, and bake at 325 degrees for 55-65 minutes until puffy and golden brown.

YIELD: 12 Servings
