A 2 1/2-3 lbs. chicken
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 envelope onion dry soup mix

Pre-boil your chicken for about 30-40 minutes in a large pot with about a quarter cup of vinegar added. The vinegar makes the chichen more tender and leaves no bitter taste!
While the chicken is boiling, mix the 4 ingredients together and set aside.
Drain chicken and place in a deep casserole dish and pour the sauce over it. Cover and bake for about 1/2 an hour.
Tastes great served on a bed of rice!
