    Vegetable: Broccoli-Raisin Salad

    List of Ingredients

    1 lb. sliced bacon, cut into 1/2" pieces
    1 cup mayonnaise
    ½ cup sugar
    ¼ cup vinegar, preferably white wine
    2 bunches broccoli, about 1 ¼ lbs.each, cut into florets, about 10 cups
    1 small red onion, halved and thinly sliced
    ½ cup raisins

    Recipe

    In skillet over medium-high heat cook bacon until crisp, 8-10 minutes. Remove; drain on paper towels. In bowl combine next 3 ingredients. Add broccoli, onion, raisins and reserved bacon; toss to combine. Cover; refrigerate at least 8 hours.


    SERVES 8
