    BBQ: Bull’s Eye Original BBQ Sauce

    1 c. water
    3/4 cup light corn syrup
    1/2 cup tomato paste
    2/3 cup vinegar
    1/3 cup dark brown sugar
    3 tbsp. molasses
    1 1/4 tsp. liquid smoke (hickory-flavoured if possible)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. onion powder
    1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
    1/4 tsp. ground mustard
    1/8 tsp. paprika
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    Dash cayenne pepper

    Recipe



    Combine all ingredients in medium saucepan over high heat and whisk until smooth.

    Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 45 minutes or until thick.

    Cool, then store in covered container in refrigerator overnight. Makes 1-1/2 cups.
