    "Use this to top the parfaits or as a fruit spread for morning toast. It's thinner than jelly. Makes 1 cup or enough to serve 4."


    List of Ingredients




    1 cup fresh blueberries
    Grated rind of 1 lemon
    1 tablespoon lemon juice
    4 teaspoons brown sugar
    1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons cold water


    Recipe



    1. In a saucepan, combine the blueberries, lemon rind and juice, and brown sugar. Cook until the sauce bubbles at the edges.

    2. Stir in the cornstarch mixture. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, for 3 minutes.
