Tomato: Mountain Marinara Sauce

2-1/2 t. minced garlic
¼ c. olive oil
1 oz. (about 2 T.) anchovy paste
3 T. chopped fresh basil
½ t. chopped fresh oregano
2 T. chopped fresh parsley
½ t. freshly ground black pepper
1 28-oz. can crushed Italian tomatoes
Recipe
In medium saucepan, cook garlic in olive oil over medium heat. Add anchovy paste, basil, oregano, parsley, and pepper.
Simmer, stirring frequently, until anchovy paste dissolves. Add tomatoes and heat to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 15-20 min.
