    Sauce: Clam Sauce

    2 tbsp. butter
    1 clove garlic
    2 tbsp. flour
    1/4 cup half and half
    1 (6 1/2 oz.) can minced clams
    2 tbsp. brandy
    1/4 tsp. oregano, crumbled
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper





    Recipe


    Melt butter with garlic in saucepan over moderate heat. Stir in flour. Slowly blend in the half and half, stirring constantly. Cook, stirring until sauce boils and thickens. Add undrained clams, brandy and all remaining ingredients. Heat just to boiling. Serve over hot buttered spaghetti.
