Soup: Pumpkin Apple Soup

List of Ingredients
1 pound 5 ounces pumpkin pure
1⁄4 teaspoon clove
1⁄4 pound apple sauce
1 1⁄4 lb. butter
2 1⁄2 teaspoon nutmeg
3 quart chicken stock
2 1⁄2 teaspoon ginger
1 1⁄2 cups brown sugar
2 quarts light cream
Recipe
Cook all ingredients except the cream until smooth and hot, then let simmer for 15 minutes. Finish by adding the cream.
