    Utah Pizza Dough

    List of Ingredients

    1 c. warm water
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    2 c. unbleached all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt

    Recipe


    1. Combine water and yeast in a large bowl. Add flour and salt; mix well. With your hands work the ingredients together until dough holds its shape.

    2. Place the dough on a lightly floured surface and knead with the heel of your hand for 5 minutes, until it is smooth and elastic. If the dough becomes sticky, sprinkle with flour while kneading.

    3. Remove the dough to a lightly oiled bowl. Cover with plastic wrap or a kitchen towel and let the dough rest for 1 hour in a warm place, until doubled in size.

    4. When dough has risen, place on a pizza tin that is oiled and spread the dough out.

    5. Add your toppings and cook at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour.

    NOTE: This recipe says to cook for 1/2 hour - but I suggest you check the pizza after 15-18 minutes.--Stella
