Sweet & Sour Green Beans

List of Ingredients
1, 9 ounce package frozen cut green beans
2 slices bacon, diced, optional
1 cup fresh minced onion
1 tablespoon flour
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
Recipe
Cook green beans to desired tenderness. Reserve liquid. Set both aside.
Brown bacon until crisp. Remove from pan and set aside.
Saute onion in bacon drippings or a little butter until onion turns golden.
Stir in the flour.
Then add water, vinegar, 1/2 c. of the reserved bean liquid, sugar and pepper.
Bring to a boil and stir in beans and bacon to heat thoroughly.
