    3/4 c Flour
    3/4 c Packed brown sugar
    1 ts Ground allspice
    1/4 ts Salt
    1/2 c Butter
    1 Butternut squash; peeled, cut into 1/2" slices,
    with seeds removed
    1 c Chopped pecans
    1 c Maple syrup

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350°. Grease a 11"x7"x2" baking dish.

    Mix flour, brown sugar, allspice and salt. Cut in
    butter to make crumbs.

    Arrange 1/3 of the squash in the baking dish;
    sprinkle with 3/4 cup crumbs. Top with remaining
    squash; sprinkle with remaining crumbs. Top with
    pecans and drizzle with maple syrup. Cover with
    foil; bake 1 hour. Remove foil; bake until squash
    is done, about 10 minutes.

    Makes 10 to 12 servings.
