French Toast With Mangoes

2 small mangoes, peeled and sliced
1/4 cup Grand Marnier
1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons butter
2 eggs
1/4 cup half and half
1/2 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 (1-inch) thick slices egg bread (challah or brioche)
Recipe
In small pan, combine mango slices, Grand Marnier and honey and simmer over low heat 5 minutes. Set aside.
Melt butter in medium skillet.
In bowl, beat together eggs, half and half, milk and salt. Add bread slices and soak in mixture. Place in skillet in single layer. Do not crowd. Fry over medium heat 5 minutes or until browned on underside. Flip over and brown second side 3 to 4 minutes longer.
Place french toast on each of 2 serving plates. Top each with half the mango mixture. Serve immediately.
Makes 2 servings.
