Lemony Sausage Balls
List of Ingredients
- 2 pounds bulk pork sausage
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons grated lemon peel
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together thoroughly all ingredients.
- Form into small meatballs. Recipe should yield around 50.
- In large skillet over medium heat, cook sausage balls util well browned and cooked through, about 20 minutes, turning occasionally.
- Serve hot in chafing dish with cocktail picks. Makes approximately 50 balls.
