    Baste- Sweet-Sour Pineapple Baste

    Really good on fish or chicken


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 can ( 8 1/2 ounces) crushed pineapple, undrained
    • 3/4 cup regular strength chicken broth or dry white dinner wine
    • 3 tablespoons white wine vinegar
    • 2 tablespoons salad oil
    • 1 tablespoon chopped onion
    • 1 tablespoon brown sugar, packed
    • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
    • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt


    Instructions


    1. Combine pineapple, chicken broth or wine, vinegar, salad oil, soy sauce, onion, sugar, lemon juice, and garlic salt.
    2. Bring to a boil and simmer 10 to 15 minutes. Makes about 1 2/3 cups.
